  • What happens to the referrals I've sent?

    The referrals that you have sent out will still be eligible for rewards, if your friends and family activated their new AT&T services and reported back to the Refer-A-Friend program prior to 11:59pm EST on January 15, 2017. 

  • Will I still get my reward?

    Yes, you will still be eligible for referral rewards for referrals for new AT&T services that were activated and reported back to the Refer-A-Friend program prior to 11:59pm EST on January 15, 2017. Once the new account validation period expires (45 days), and your referral eligibility is confirmed, we will process your reward.

 

Making Referrals

  • I sent a referral to a friend and the program website tells me the status is “Awaiting Response.” What does that mean?

    It means your friend has not yet acted on your referral by registering for the program. You should follow up with your friend and remind him/her to take action. If your friend has lost the referral, then (s)he will need to register directly on the program website by selecting “Someone Referred Me,” and then entering your email address as the person who referred them.

  • I sent a referral to a friend and the program website tells me the status is “Awaiting Account Number.” What does that mean?

    It means your friend accepted your referral and completed half of the registration process. We now need them to return to the program website and confirm their service activation by reporting their AT&T phone / account number. This must be done within 45 days of when they completed the first half of the registration process or the referral may not qualify for a reward.

 

Rewards

  • I received an email telling me my referral is approved, but when I check my referral status it still says “in process”?
    Because the AT&T Refer-A-Friend program allows you to earn multiple rewards by making multiple purchases resulting from a single referral, your referral status will always show as “in process” until such time as the offer period expires (45 days) and the new account validation period expires (another 45 days). This however doesn't mean your rewards for purchases already made aren't on their way! If you received an email telling you that your referral has been approved for a particular purchase, that means that your reward is ready to be sent. Note that it may take up to 6 weeks from this point for your promotion card to be produced, mailed, and delivered.
  • What is the reward for a successful referral?

    Both parties of a referral will earn a $25 AT&T promotional card for every qualifying service purchased by the Referee as a result of a successful referral.

  • I purchased more than one AT&T service as a result of the referral. Will I earn a reward for each service?

    You will qualify for rewards for all of the participating AT&T services you purchased within 45 days of completing the first part of the registration process if the referral meets the Terms and Conditions of the program. Please see the Terms and Conditions for all of the rules of the program.

  • How many $25 AT&T Promotion Cards can I earn through Refer-A-Friend?

    You can earn a maximum of $575 in AT&T Promotion Cards during a calendar year, beginning on the date you were issued your first reward. Rewards are paid out in $25 increments.

  • What can I do with my $25 AT&T Promotion Card?

    AT&T Promotion Cards can be redeemed for merchandise online at att.com or at any AT&T company owned store. They can also be used for paying your bill through the online account management service at att.com, by phone, or at participating AT&T stores. Please note that AT&T Promotion Cards expire on the last day of the month embossed on the card, so please don't wait too long to use them. Click here to find an AT&T store near you.

  • How long will it take to receive my rewards?

    Both parties of a referral must maintain their qualifying service(s) ffor at least 45 days after a referral has been completed. (A referral is completed when both parties are fully registered in the program.) At that time, we will verify the referral to make sure that it meets the Terms and Conditions of the program and if it does, we will process your reward. Fulfillment of AT&T Promotional Cards is by mail and can take up to 6 weeks.

  • Is there a way to expedite my rewards?

    No. Fulfillment of AT&T Promotional Cards is by mail and can take up to 6 weeks.

  • To what address will AT&T Promotion Cards be sent?

    Promotion Cards will be mailed to the AT&T account holder's billing address of record.

  • How do I update my mailing address?

    Please contact the AT&T billing department to update your address.

 

Program Website

  • What should I do if I forget my password?

    If you have forgotten your password, please click the “Forgot your password?” link at the bottom of the login screen. This will initiate the password reset process. Please note that you must use the same email address you used to register for the program.

  • What if I don't remember which email address I used to register for the program?

    Please contact the program support team using the Contact Us form on this website. Please provide your AT&T phone / account number, so we can look up your registration information.

  • I have registered for other AT&T programs. Does this mean that I'm registered for Refer-A-Friend?

    No. You must register in the Refer-A-Friend program in order to participate in the program.
