Program Overview


How the Program Works

To earn up to $575 a year in rewards for referring friends and family to AT&T, just sign up for the AT&T Refer-A-Friend Program, make referrals, and ensure that the people you refer purchase qualifying service. It's that simple!

If you have been referred to AT&T, all you have to do is join the referral program by clicking the "Start earning!" button on the referral message that you were sent, purchase qualifying AT&T service(s), and then provide us with your AT&T phone or account number. That's it!

Once a referral is completed, we will verify it to make sure that it meets the program rules, which takes about 45 days. After the referral has been successfully verified, we will notify you of the outcome and mail you the reward.

Notes on qualifying services:
  • Wireless service is Postpaid only and Referrers must be on a $9.99/mo. or higher rate plan. Wireless Referees must activate service on a $39.99/mo. or higher plan.
  • Digital Life Referees must activate service on a $39.99/mo. or higher plan.
  • Home Phone may be either traditional Wireline or Postpaid Wireless Home Phone (Voice or Voice + Internet service).

Rewards

The reward for every successfully referred service is a $25 AT&T Promotional card. Rewards for successful referrals are given to both the Referrer and Referee. AT&T Promotional Cards can be redeemed for merchandise online at att.com or at any AT&T company owned store. They can also be used towards paying your bill through the online account management service at att.com, by phone, or at participating AT&T stores. AT&T Promotion Cards expire on the last day of the month embossed on the card, so please don't wait too long to use them.


How to Earn Rewards

Who? You must be a current AT&T customer with at least one qualifying service. You are not already registered in the referral program and are referred by a program member.
What? Make referrals through the program. Be referred through the program.
When? You must register in the program prior to making your first referral. First, register your name and email address in the program and accept the terms and conditions as soon as you receive your referral. Then, within 45 days, purchase / activate qualifying service and register your new phone / account number in the program.
How? Ensure that the people you refer register for the program as soon as possible and purchase qualifying AT&T services. The more qualifying services you purchase / activate within the 45 day period will qualify you and your friend for more rewards.

General Rules and Eligibility

  • Both Referrers and Referees must have qualifying service at the time their referrals are verified.
  • Employees of AT&T, its affiliated companies, and its Agents, their subagents, and other distributors of AT&T service are not eligible to participate in the Program.
